Roughly translated, "el rancho pescado" means "the fish ranch" in Spanish. "The Fish Ranch" refers to our house, which is a red-brick, "ranch-style" home in central Phoenix. When we moved in, the house had two ponds, both of which contained fish. Thus, the new pad was christened: "Rancho Pescado." This is its virtual existence.
